RED AXES GET EMOTIVE WITH 'SABOR' ON CROSSTOWN REBELS
New one from the Tel Aviv duo
For the uninitiated, Red Axes are Tel Aviv-based Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi, who originally started off in the band Red Cotton. Their debut album, ‘Ballad Of The Ice’ arrived last year on I’m A Cliche, while they’ve also dropped releases on Hivern Discs, I’m A Cliché and Multi Culti and this year began their very own Garzen Records label.
‘Sabor’, their latest effort on Crosstown Rebels, is Latin inspired - all xylophone chimes, enchanting percussion and vocals from Brazilian artist Abrao, who sings soothingly in his native tongue, transporting us all the way to Sao Paulo.
We’ve got the premiere, check it out now below.
