Courtesy has announced her debut EP release, 'Night Journeys'.
An ambient trance outing spread over four tracks, the EP will be released on 25th March 2022, via the Copenhagen-based DJ and producer's own Kulør, a multidisciplinary platform set up in 2018 as a home for contemporary art and music.
Heavy on synths, but light on kick drums, the release features vocal work, abstract guitars, and trance undertones. News of the EP coincides with confirmation of the first Courtesy live shows, in collaboration with Esben Weile Kjær, the creative mind responsible for the 'Night Journeys' artwork, who is also based in the Danish capital.
The tour will take in Berlin institution Berghain (4/5), Amsterdam's Tolhuistuin (11/5), Hotel Cecil in Copenhagen (19/5), and London's Village Underground (7/6). Courtesy also features on the lineup for Friday at GALA Festival 2022. Earlier this month, Kulør unveiled details of the imprint's first ever publication — a photobook about Copenhagen by the artist Daniel Hjorth.
